Why a Dedicated Device?

Pocketalk is pushing to be a seamless bridge between languages in a way that Google Translate on your phone can’t.

Most of the capabilities of Pocketalk can be found in software alone, but having a dedicated device has its benefits. Not needing to unlock your phone saves battery life, saves the time of constantly unlocking to open an app, and minimizes both the chance of phone theft while traveling, and the chance of your dropping your phone while constantly reaching for it.

Whether Pocketalk will be adopted by U.S. consumers is yet to be seen, but this new model will be available for pre-order beginning January 5, 2020 for an MSRP of $299 (in gold, white and black).
